Well, due to sub prime , property counters have came down quite a lot.

Counter that are on my watch list:

Singapore Kitchen(SKE) was listed on SGX in 2013 at a price of 20cts. It has hit a high of 25cts on 19th June 2014, a low of 7.3cts in early 2016. Investment Merits: 1) Company has only $0.4 million of long term debt vs a net cash position. 2) 2 main segment of business: 1) Distribution & Fabrication of kitchen equipment 2) Maintenance & Servicing: Abt 75% of revenue is accounted for Distribution & Fabrication of kitchen equipment, with 25% of revenue as recurring income. Metal Companies listed on SGX: A relook ?

Listed on SGX, there are various companies dealing with Metals trading. Lets take a look at the following companies: 1) BRC Asia 2) Asia Enterprises Holding 3) Hup Steel 4) Lee Metal 5) HG Metal These 5 companies have business primarily in Singapore. With the stabilizing prices in commodities, these few companies are worth a re-look. Personally i like HG Metal. It is trading at 0.63x its book value, and commanding a dividend of 7.5% at at price of 8cts. Lee Metal and BRC Asia is trading close to its book value, whereas Hupsteel is trading at 0.58x.
